The tests of this species from the Gulf of California conform to Nigrini’s (1977, p. 254) emended definition of the genus Siphocampe—“Artostrobiid having three segments the third of which is more or less cylindrical and may develop a series of rounded constrictions with transverse rows of pores; vertical tube short, cylindrical; no apical horn.”
